Welcome to Masters International School (MIS). We are a home for learning, belonging, and thriving for both students and families. Our three pillars represent the holistic way our students grow, with head, heart, and hands. They also represent the three languages that our students will use every day: English, Mandarin, and Thai. We plan to open our doors in the fall of 2026. MIS represents the combined efforts of a team that has spent decades in Christian education in Asia.
Meet your Superintendent
Dr. Scott Finnamore and his wife Angie have two grown children. Angie is a veteran teacher at both the kindergarten and elementary levels. Dr. Finnamore holds a doctorate in Educational Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota. He spent 22 years working in China with LifePlus Worldwide Learning as a principal, superintendent, and vice president in K-12 international schools. He played a leading role in the startup of three schools during that time. He is bilingual in English and Mandarin and is ready to begin learning Thai soon.
Meet your Thai Director
Mrs. Sangwon Yeo and her husband Henry have two grown children. Sangwon has an M.Ed. in Education Administration from Chiangmai University. She has worked as a school leader in Chiangmai since 2001, focusing on early childhood and operations management. She has certifications from the US and Singapore as well as the Child Care Management and Evaluation of National Standard for Early Childhood Care Development and Education from Thailand. She is bilingual in Thai and English and is a growing Chinese language speaker as well.
